1. Be nice to your teenager, they are children and adults at the same time, which is confusing for you and even more difficult for them.

2. Give them Christ, they usually hold on to it tightly, if they accept Christ. They keep the relationship with Christ for the rest of their lives.

3. Pray for their choice of friends, they learn better from their peers and become easily influenced by friends.

4. Let sex be an everyday topic, they talk about it outside home and they are looking for answers. “Break cultural boundaries with this”.

5. Give them space to explore; there is  so much they are curious about. If you confined them they will hide a lot from you.

6. Build a relationship with them, they don’t rebel against authority but rather lack of relationship.

7. Set rules and boundaries for them, however have a good discussion about it before you put them out there, so that they can own it too.

8. Pray for them, alot of information is only a click away.

9. Teach them to dress well, they are still confused about their age “a child or an adult.

10. Give them good values by your own life style, their values are a reflection of your life.

11. However, God rewards faithfulness. You do your part and God always does His part, even when you don’t live to see the outcome.
