To be able to achieve a good balance I believe you must set priorities in life. For the single person you need to put this list in correct order that is put the most important at the top. Family, life testimony, Ministry, God and career. I know it will be difficult to rearrange but you need to if you want to have a well balanced life.

4. Ministry
5. Career
Sounds weird doesn’t it. Especially where ministry and career is placed. But we talking about well balanced life.
1. God first because. In Him we live and move and have our being. He gives us all that pertains to life and Godliness. So if you keep God first on your list all the time you shall not want.
What does it mean for God to be top on your list. You wake up with God on your mind. You read the word of God and meditate on it all the time so that it can guide you through the day. You always consider what the word says about every situation before you make a decision. You make God the final Authority in your life. You seek to please Him in all your dealings. He is the Lord and master of your life.
2. Family the Bible says he sets the lonely in families. That shows how important families are to him. You cannot survive without blood relations and people who care for you genuinely. Family because that’s where your ministries are supposed to be birth. When the family unit is functioning correctly you are able to develop your ministries by starting to practise at home. You learn to serve and begin to serve at home, you learn to read and interpret the word of God at home.
Your parents are the ones who took care of you when you were born till now that maybe you are able to survive without them, so its important that they become your next priority in life.
3. Your life Testimony; the Bible says we are a mirror to the world. Everyone around you must see you and see that you belong to Christ. Your life testimony is usually what the people who know you think about you. what is their testimony about you. The people at your work place, in your school, in your area, your family, everyone who sees your life must testify that you belong to Christ. That is why you must live intentionally keeping at the back of your mind daily that every move i make is writing my testimony. Make it your priority to live your life to testify of Christ and His goodness.
4. Ministry; What are you doing for Christ. What have you been called to do. What is it that you are doing for God, is it priority in your life or its just something you do casually. Your Ministry must be very important to you. You need to gain knowledge and sharpen your skills when it comes to your ministry. You need to make it an integral part of your life, people need to associate you with your Ministry. If you love Him you will care about His business
5. Career; When you have made the top four your priority, God has no choice than to help you to progress in the area of your career. God gives you favor before your subordinates and gives you skills to excel. Your career is always taken care of by God when you consider the top four seriously. Seek you first the Kingdom of God and all other things will be added into you.
Take time to prioritize especially these five areas in your life. You will begin to feel happy and the joy of the Lord will be your strength.
