After leaving your mother and father to become one with your spouse. You’ve only got each other.
Be content with your spouse, be happy for having each other. At least there’s someone to sleep and wake up with.
Be patient with each other. Give enough room for offenses and mistakes after all you’ve only got each other and you are only human and bound to air.
Be nice to each other. It doesn’t cost much to be nice. Leave a good impression on each other’s mind. Who else can keep crossing your mind all day apart from that nice person who is your roommate.
Be a Doer. Do things for each other. After all you’ve only got each other. Let your partner know that they can count on you to do stuff for them.
Be Dead. You cannot be a christain and be alive. The Bible says; unless a gain falls into the ground and dies it remains a grain. The Bible says again; you have been crucified you no longer live. Same way you cannot be married and be alive you must both die to self and live as married. There is no longer “I” but “us” and “we”.
Even the best of friends have quarrels and misunderstanding sometimes and they get back as friends soon after because quarrels and misunderstanding do not mean no love.
So it is with Marriage, quarrels and misunderstandings mean you are different and our differences make us unique. Your relationship grows to another level anytime you jump the hurdles of conflict. Be happy you have conflicts it shows you are being real with each other. But remember you’ve only got each other so let the conflicts be hurdles and not obstacles.
